Job Summary The Key Account Manager (KAM) for the Rare & Specialty Products (RSP) Business Unit will launch and grow market share within a defined geographic area, focusing on demand generation through the commercial payer channel. Reporting to the Area Sales Manager (ASM), the KAM will manage a portfolio of 11 branded products, with a promotional emphasis on Verkazia, Natacyn, Ilevro, and TobraDex ST. The role requires a highly motivated self‑starter, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a continuously changing ophthalmic market.

Core Responsibilities

Meet or exceed quarterly sales revenue and product goals.

Develop new customers while converting the existing customer base.

Analyze, develop, and grow the territory business with an entrepreneurial mindset.

Drive demand through organic pull‑through and deploy all reimbursement solutions.

Engage ophthalmic and primary‑care healthcare professionals in defined markets.

Build critical physician and staff relationships within the assigned geography.

Utilize internal resources to develop quarterly action plans and partner with accounts.

Accurately record all sales activity in CRM in a timely manner.

Maintain proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Maintain an in‑depth, professional level understanding of Harrow’s ophthalmic portfolio and competition.

Articulate the clinical benefits of the products and solutions in a compliant manner.

Act with a sense of urgency at all levels of customer care and follow‑up.

Collaborate with internal departments and peers.

Travel routinely throughout the assigned geography (approximately 80% of time).

Comply with all state and federal legislation and regulatory requirements.

Manage expenses responsibly and ethically.

Serve as the liaison for customers with continual follow‑up.

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

High‑energy, self‑starter mindset essential for success.

Ability to build, develop, and foster long‑standing relationships with customers.

Ability to quickly absorb product and practice information and offer resonant solutions.

Experience executing strategic and targeted business plans around priorities and goals.

Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Preferred clinical understanding in ophthalmology.

Knowledge of the payer landscape, including Commercial, Medicare Part D, and dual eligibility.

Understanding of how physicians make patient‑care decisions for various therapies.

Ability to become proficient with the CRM system.

Position Type Remote

Travel Up to 80% travel weekly within a defined territory with overnight stays as required.
