Graphic Designer for a women's apparel retail company in Columbus, OH.
Long term temp role
40 hours a week
Hybrid 3 days a week on-site - New Albany, OH
$34.25/hr - weekly pay
The Graphic Designer is responsible for assisting the creative team by designing assets used in digital marketing campaigns, ensuring that each asset meets or exceeds the standards of overall design, layout, and typography. This role will be accountable for innovative creative solutions for marketing needs including but not limited to email, social, print, and store assets. The ideal candidate will have an interest in fashion retail and strong graphic experience.
Responsibilities
Create visual assets, including graphics for mostly print, POS, email campaigns, digital ads, social media, and store signage.
Graphic savvy, typography obsessed, able to weigh balance and space in a design tastefully.
Works closely with cross-functional teams to achieve a balance between creative brand and promotion activity.
Works closely with Senior graphic designers and copywriters to execute creative.
Design static and motion graphics for the digital space.
Organized, detail-oriented, quick, precise, accurate, have great communication skills and bring a positive team attitude.
Time management for live projects, and revisions.
Work Experience and education requirements
3+ years experience in Design Marketing, with specific experience in fashion oriented art and design.
Strong design and typography skills and experience in the digital and print space.
Highly proficient with MAC and Adobe Creative Suite software, with knowledge of motion graphics.
Bachelor’s Degree in Design, Marketing or related field.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Demonstrated ability to work with tight deadlines and deliverables.
Demonstrated ability to take a project from concept to go-live.
Ability to develop and direct business strategy through design projects.
Demonstrated ability to multi-task, be proactive and collaborate with marketing teams and cross functional partners.
