Tombras, a 450+ person, full-service, national advertising agency with a digital mindset, is seeking a Social Media Strategist.

Social trends move fast, and the Tombras Social Media team moves faster. We work at the speed of culture to create and foster obsessive fandoms and engaging moments for some of your favorite brands like Arby’s, Josh Cellars Wines, and Steak-Umm. We’re looking for a Social Media Strategist to help manage the day‑to‑day social platform execution, drive cultural and consumer insights, and inform social strategy efforts for clients. This role reports into the Organic Social team and will work closely with other departments and clients to create world‑class social first campaigns rooted in strategy and data.

Where you'll be working:

Knoxville or Atlanta. Relocation assistance may be provided.

What you will be doing:

Connecting brands to real people in real‑time, all the time

Contribute to best‑in‑class social media strategies spanning audience insights, channel mix, content strategy, community management, influencer marketing, and more

Contribute to execution of omnichannel social campaigns from delivering creative concept through deployment, optimization, and performance analysis and reporting

Collaborate with in‑house creative directors, community managers, brand strategists, project managers, account teams, and analysts

Help drive social strategy and playbook creation

Present creative concepts and performance analysis to agency leadership and clients with authority and influence

Continuously explore new social platforms, functionalities, and technologies to push boundaries

Ongoing and obsessive social listening

Move at the speed of social! Which means more opportunities to make exceptional and impactful content

Expresses strong creative instincts and client intuition, and is able to deliver the agency/creative POV

Brings sharp understanding of the evolving media and consumer landscape, applying those insights to elevate the work and push for stronger outcomes

What you bring:

3‑5 years of experience in social media management, strategy and content creation

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience with social media analytics and reporting tools

Ability to multi‑task and work quickly and efficiently under pressure

Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams

Ability to proofread content for grammatical accuracy and maintain style consistency across pieces

Public speaking skills to ensure ideas are presented effectively and coherently

Passion for current and emerging social media platforms, trends, and best practices

Strong project management and organizational skills, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously

An attitude of positivity, adaptability, curiosity, and exploration
