This is a full-time on-site role for an Affordable Housing Development Manager located in Agoura Hills, CA. The Affordable Housing Development Manager will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of the development of affordable housing projects. This includes managing project budgets and timelines, securing funding through tax credits and other sources, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and coordinating with architects, contractors, and various stakeholders. Additionally, the role involves identifying potential new development opportunities and conducting feasibility analyses to support project selection and planning. Qualifications
Project Management and Budget Management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple development projects from inception to completion. Knowledge of Affordable Housing Finance, including Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC) and other funding programs specific to affordable housing. Understanding of construction processes and ability to collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals in the real estate development sector. Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving skills, with experience in feasibility analysis and regulatory compliance in housing development. Excellent Communication and Stakeholder Management skills, ensuring clear and effective engagement with internal teams, external partners, and government entities. Proficiency in Project Management Software and Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to manage complex schedules and documentation. Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning, Real Estate Development, Business, or a related field is preferred. Relevant experience in affordable housing development within the California or Texas regions is highly desirable.
