Customs Compliance Specialist – Brokerage Operations

Customs brokerage, trade compliance, CBP regulations, CargoWise, bonds, ACE portal This is a full-time, onsite role, ideal for an experienced compliance professional who thrives in a structured, high-volume customs brokerage environment. Key Responsibilities

Process and manage daily CBP statements for all branches, ensuring same-day acceptance and issue resolution Review statements and remove entries requiring branch-level corrections or updates Support onboarding of new importer and warehouse clients, including documentation review and CargoWise account setup Monitor, establish, renew, and maintain continuous and single-entry bonds Issue insufficient bond notices and coordinate bond increases with importers and surety providers Produce and distribute daily and weekly compliance reports, tracking follow-up actions with branch teams Perform branch-level compliance audits and prepare findings for senior compliance leadership Support post-entry activities including PSC filings, protests, TIB closures, reconciliations, drawback, and refunds Assist with ACE portal reporting, maintenance, and protest workflows Support internal compliance training initiatives and participate in recurring compliance calls Act as backup support for statement processing and new client onboarding as required Candidate Requirements

Minimum of 5 years’ experience within customs brokerage compliance or brokerage operations Strong working knowledge of CBP regulations, bonds, audits, and post-entry procedures Hands-on experience with CargoWise is required Familiarity with ACE portal reporting and compliance tools Strong Excel skills with the ability to analyze and interpret compliance data Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Clear, professional communication skills and a collaborative approach Comfortable working independently in a compliance-driven, process-focused environment What You Can Expect
