We for an experienced, fintech and/or insurance industry-savvy Social Media Manager to own and evolve social presence across our business portfolio, with our new insurtech company as the primary focus.

This role blends strategy, brand stewardship, and execution. Youll be responsible for driving engagement, protecting and expressing brand voice, staying attuned to cultural and platform trends, and ensuring the brands show up consistently and thoughtfully across channels.

Youll also bring operational rigor; building automated content calendars, managing approvals, and ensuring social execution is compliant, coordinated, and scalable.

Our portfolio includes a new, fast-growing, modern insurance platform for small and mid-sized businesses, alongside other operating companies and initiatives within the company ecosystem.

Onsite in downtown Miami (Brickell) - company-paid parking or train pass

Extremely competitive annual salary (DOE) + bonus

What Youll Do

Own social media strategy and day-to-day execution across our portfolio companies, with primary focus on our insurtech startup.

Drive meaningful engagement by creating content that invites conversation, builds trust, and reinforces brand credibility.

Maintain and evolve brand voice across platforms, ensuring consistency while adapting to platform norms.

Develop, automate, and manage cross-platform content calendars with documented review and approval workflows.

Monitor platform trends, cultural moments, and industry conversations to inform timely, relevant content.

Collaborate with marketing, content, design, and leadership teams to concept and produce social-first assets (static, carousel, video, short-form).

Write and edit clear, on-brand social copy tailored to each platform.

Monitor social performance and sentiment, using insights to optimize content and engagement strategy.

Engage with audiences thoughtfully and professionally, escalating issues when appropriate.

Support crisis response and reactive communications as needed (experience here a strong plus).

Coordinate with paid media and growth teams to support campaign amplification.

What Were Looking For

4 7+ years of experience managing social media for brands, ideally in B2B, fintech, insurance, SaaS, or other regulated industries.

A great portfolio demonstrating taste, writing ability/style, and campaign results - well want to see your work!

Strong writing skills and demonstrated ability to maintain a consistent brand voice.

Proven experience driving engagement, not just reach or impressions.

Deep understanding of major platforms (LinkedIn, X, Instagram; others a plus).

Experience building and managing structured content calendars with approval processes.

Strong instincts for trends, timing, and platform-specific behavior.

Ability to operate calmly and thoughtfully in high-visibility or sensitive situations.

Strong organizational skills and comfort managing multiple brands or stakeholders.

Bonus Points For

Experience supporting executive or founder-led social presence.

Experience with social listening, sentiment analysis, or crisis communications.

Familiarity with social automation and scheduling tools.

Experience working in a start-up, venture studio, or multi-brand environment.

Interest in infrastructure, insurance, or SMB-focused businesses.
