Cécred, a fast-growing and innovative beauty company, is seeking an exceptional

Senior Retail Designer

to develop and execute innovative visual merchandising and retail design strategies that will align with Cécred's brand identity and objectives. This role involves leading the design and execution of implementation of in-store displays, window presentations, retail spaces and retail events to enhance the customer experience and ultimately drive sales. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in visual merchandising, a keen eye for design, and a passion for creating engaging retail environments.

Roles and Responsibilities: As our Senior Retail Designer, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Innovative Design:

Develop and execute strong, impactful designs with consistent and cohesive aesthetic across various point of sale formats and retail events that align with Cécred's brand identity, objectives, and campaigns.

In-Store Displays:

Lead the design and implementation of in-store displays, window presentations, and retail spaces to enhance customer experience and drive sales.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work with marketing, sales, and digital teams to ensure consistency and excellence

Industry Trends:

Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in visual merchandising and retail design to improve Cécred's retail environments and maintain a competitive edge.

Project Management:

Work with retail marketing to manage project timelines, the post production team and retailer vendors on budgets, and vendor relationships for retail design and visual merchandising initiatives.

Merchandising Solutions:

Assist in creating new, innovative merchandising design solutions for a luxury & prestige hair category landscape through ideation, sketches, and presentation renderings.

In-Store Merchandising:

Concept and design global in-store merchandising, in-store collateral, presentations, schematics, retailer events, promotions, specialty merchandising units, and fixtures.

Production Schematics:

Develop detailed schematics for production using 3D and 2D computer applications with vendor-required specifications.

Visual Guidelines:

Develop planograms and visual merchandising guidelines

Vendor Collaboration:

Liaise with the retailer teams on executing systems with vendors through engineering drawing reviews, materials samples, production samples, and final prototypes.

Digital Design and Production : Adeptly handle digital design, including crafting signage and promotional materials related to retail as well as develop mechanicals for all signage

Qualifications & Experience: Our ideal candidate for the Senior Retail Designer role will possess:

Bachelor's degree in Visual Merchandising, Space Design, Graphic Design or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).

Minimum of 6 years of experience in visual merchandising and retail design, with a proven track record of successful projects and innovative design concepts.

Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, and 3D modeling software (Rhino, Sketchup Pro, Autodesk 3D Studio Max, and Keyshot).

Must have an elevated taste level with a portfolio that demonstrates it (personal or professional)
