Mission As a Sales Executive you will support the Regional Sales Director to coordinate and manage all commercial activities related to the hotel, identifying new prospects and developing sales leads, representing the hotel in various events and exhibitions. You will be responsible to manage and look at best options to maximize revenue and occupancy across all markets and all channels, ensuring we meet and exceed the budgets set by the Sales Director.
Responsibilities
Relationship Management: Acting as the primary point of contact for local agencies, DMCs, direct companies, corporate business, and third parties to achieve commercial goals.
Business Development: Maintaining strong relationships with specialized group agencies and identifying new opportunities within associations and existing accounts.
Strategic Growth: Proactively seeking new business opportunities and increasing market share across all relevant source markets.
Reporting & Collaboration: Maintaining daily communication with your supervisor and internal departments; conducting regular meetings with the Revenue team to ensure budget alignment.
Sales Operations: Formulating tailor‑made offers, managing contracts, and handling all professional business correspondence.
Events & Outreach: Coordinating and attending industry events, trade shows, personalized sales calls, and sales blitzes.
Client Engagement: Initiating and hosting targeted client familiarization (FAM) trips and site inspections.
Negotiation: Negotiating competitive room rates and packages with corporate clients and groups.
Market Promotion: Promoting the hotel within local markets, focusing on key segments such as MICE, Incentives, Golf, and Leisure.
Planning: Developing annual sales action plans and maintaining an organized calendar of commercial activities.
Customer Excellence: Monitoring customer satisfaction and resolving issues to ensure long‑term loyalty and repeat business.
Qualifications
Experience: Proven track record as a Sales Executive or in a similar commercial role within the hospitality industry.
Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Team Player: A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across departments.
Languages: Proficiency in French and English (Spanish is a significant plus).
Tech‑Savvy: Excellent knowledge of MS Office/GSuite; experience with CRM systems (Salesforce, etc.) is a plus.
Sales Expertise: A thorough understanding of marketing and negotiation techniques.
Drive: Self‑motivated, results‑driven, and a fast learner with a genuine passion for sales.
Presentation: Strong aptitude for delivering compelling and attractive presentations.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality or Business preferred).
