Overview
Susquehanna Financial Group, LLLP (SFG) integrates expertise in trading, research, and sales to provide value to our client base of mutual funds, hedge funds, and pension/endowment funds.
As a member of our Derivatives Sales Trading team, you will engage directly with clients, execute order flow, and provide market-driven insights. This role involves close collaboration with our derivatives trading, strategy, market intelligence, and equity research teams.
What we’re looking for
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree required
3 to 6 years of experience in sales trading, ideally with a focus on derivatives
Exceptional quantitative and analytical abilities
Deep understanding of options pricing, volatility modeling, and derivatives markets
Expertise in examining volatility surfaces, skew, term structures, and other critical options metrics to inform trading decisions
Ability to evaluate market trends, interpret options flows and positioning, and assess strategy feasibility
Experience with Python, SQL, or VBA preferred
Proven ability to build and foster strong, collaborative relationships with institutional clients and internal counterparts
Client-focused mindset with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the organization
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Adaptability to shifting priorities and willingness to contribute across projects and workstreams
An ideal candidate has strong ambition, a willingness to take initiative, and a desire to continuously learn
Possession of SIE, Series 7 and Series 63, or the ability to obtain all licenses within four months of hire, required

The annual base pay range for this role is $125,000 - $175,000 + discretionary bonus + benefits. Susquehanna considers factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, work experience, education/training, key skills, as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
