33769**Senior Director****Americas Retail Sales and Distribution**At its core, the self-directed (Retail) trader is the fastest growing trading segment for CME Group globally.
This role is responsible for helping to grow and develop CME Group’s retail business in the Americas with existing key broker partners and bringing in new brokers to offer futures.
The successful candidate will have an entrepreneurial / investment mindset, experience and passion for the retail segment and collaborative spirit.
This role will have a strong partnership with Retail Business Leadership and collaborate with their EMEA and APAC counterparts and with key partners across Marketing, Education, Data and Product to ensure alignment to the global strategy.
This role will be based in Chicago and report to the Head of the Retail Business / Head of Americas Retail Sales and Distribution.**Job Responsibilities:*** Developing and managing relationships with key retail broker partners to increase revenue and across CME Group products.* Leveraging a metrics-based framework of sales pipeline and client engagement to help broker partners 1)grow their new accounts and 2)increase the value of their existing accounts.* Maintain strong working knowledge of CME Group retail focused products across Equity Indices, Commodities and
Crypto.* Work with Retail shared services to help brokers partners grow their business - marketing, education, product and market data.* Independently develop relationships with executive, business development and senior level individuals at existing top brokers and prospective firms.* Ensure creation and effective implementation of account plans for assigned accounts.* Leverage internal data sources to develop ideas to help brokers partners grow their CME Group futures and options business.* Diligently and consistently leverage the CRM system to manage and track sales and account activity.* Bring in more new leading brokers to offer futures and options on futures products.* The role will require approximately 15% of time spent traveling.**Qualifications:*** You’re a demonstrated seller - 10+ years in sales and or client servicing within derivatives trading, preferably in the Retail segment.* You have a strong understanding and passion for retail trading -
brokers, retail traders, social and charting platforms, competitors, trends and behaviors in retail products, market makers, clearing firms, etc.* You’re an excellent cross functional collaborator and enjoy bringing people together.* You develop relationships and persuasively communicate with clients, business stakeholders and senior management.* You’ve proven to meet or exceed sales targets.* You’re confident in your ability to identify, qualify and engage new firms to offer futures products to their clients.* You’re a problem solver who works through conflict and responds quickly to change and ambiguity.* You value curiosity, a global perspective and building on the ideas of others.* You have a familiarity with data and systems - Salesforce, Tableau, Business Intelligence reporting tools and Google Workspace.#JR-1 #hybridCME Group is committed to offering a competitive total rewards package for our employees that recognizes their contributions to the business and reflects our long-term investment in their future.
