Job Responsibilities

Act as a Business Partner to operations Delivery Executive on all aspects of financial health for assigned projects to drive successful and efficient completion of the clinical trial.

Provide oversight for all assigned projects to reduce project overburn and improve overall project financial health.

Actively assist in training and mentoring of project finance managers (PFA managers) and project financial analysts (PFAs).

Ensure controls, reviews, and procedures are implemented timely and accurately for assigned projects.

As necessary, troubleshoot difficulties which may arise in project health discussions and manage escalations appropriately.

Facilitate team building and communication.

Act as a liaison and facilitator between other functional areas for overall financial issues.

Provide support to project finance managers (PFA managers) in regularly and comprehensively assessing and mitigating financial risks on their projects.

Support BU CFO in quarterly and annual forecasting processes.

Oversee monthly revenue backlog forecasting for assigned projects to ensure revenue forecasts reported to market are accurate and achievable.

Review assigned projects to evaluate performance versus forecast, margin movement changes and confidently communicate findings to BU CFO and higher-level management on weekly review calls.

Review changes to contract to ensure sufficient coverage for required activities, recovery of overburn and provide management with a revenue impact estimates for contract changes.

Skills & Qualifications

BS/BA degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent education and experience.

A minimum of 3 years of financial experience managing a portfolio of projects.

Pharma/CRO experience is preferred.

Strong/Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

Strong English proficiency.

An ability to work with confidential and sensitive data is required.

Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, organizational, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.

High level of personal motivation.

Leadership and mentoring skills to support less senior team members.

An ability to prioritise activities and perform several tasks simultaneously.

Professional scepticism when analyzing and reviewing revenue.

Benefits & Salary Salary Range: $97,300.00 - $170,300.00

Benefits may include a company car or car allowance, Health benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision), Company match 401k, eligibility to participate in Employee Stock Purchase Plan, Eligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on company and individual performance, and flexible paid time off (PTO) and sick time.
