Job Description
FOX News Edge serves more than 170 newsrooms, providing content that is a cornerstone of news programming on FOX television stations across the country. We seek a top-notch coordinating producer who is energized by working on a broad portfolio of stories in the newsroom and control room. This coordinating producer will oversee work with a team of writers and producers to oversee coverage of various live events and cut-in programming.
A Snapshot of Your Responsibilities
- Take ownership of FOX News Edge live productions, including breaking news cut-ins, major events, and news updates airing nationwide
- Collaborate with producers and writers to build compelling live programming rundowns
- Research, write, and edit stories seen coast-to-coast
- Keep the team ahead of breaking news and major events through quick thinking and agility in and out of the control room
What You Will Need
- Exemplary news judgment and grasp of journalism best practices
- Line producing experience and live control room experience
- Detail-oriented, specifically in editing and on-screen graphics creation
- Excellent writing skills, spelling and grammar
- Ability to be flexible and adjust as breaking news dictates
- Ability to work well with others under strict deadlines
- Strong knowledge of current events
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably in related field)

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $102,000.00-130,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
