San Francisco . These are fundamental platforms with a strong research-driven approach and meaningful analyst ownership. Responsibilities
Conduct deep fundamental research on biotechnology companies across public markets Build and maintain detailed financial models and valuation frameworks Develop long and short investment theses supported by clinical, scientific, and commercial analysis Track clinical trial data, regulatory developments, and competitive landscapes Present investment ideas directly to PMs and participate in ongoing portfolio discussions Monitor existing positions and update views as data evolves Ideal Background
Experience on the
buy side and/or sell side , covering biotechnology or related life sciences sectors Strong scientific foundation;
PhD and/or MD highly preferred Demonstrated ability to translate complex biology and clinical data into investable insights Solid understanding of drug development, trial design, and regulatory pathways Clear, concise communicator with strong written and verbal presentation skills
