Job responsibilities
Provide clients with income tax audit representation and taxpayer education while minimizing stress involved in dealing with the IRS or any tax authority.
Manage federal and state tax audit defense case loads.
Work with the taxpayer to assist in gathering documents and information.
Organize documents and prepare response packages for submission to IRS and state taxing authorities.
Draft correspondence.
Discuss cases and tax law with IRS and state agents.
Provide support work on team members’ audit cases.
Qualifications
Minimum 3–6 years of tax experience.
Must retain active credentials for EA or CPA.
Extensive knowledge of tax laws.
Ability to communicate clearly in the explanation of tax‑related issues.
Customer service oriented with impeccable professionalism.
Excellent written and verbal skills.
