Role Overview
This role supports complex commercial real estate transactions from contract through post-closing, with a strong focus on shopping centers and retail triple-net properties (restaurants, drugstores, banks, etc.). The ideal candidate is detail-driven, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced transactional practice. Key Responsibilities
Support attorneys throughout all phases of commercial real estate transactions Conduct due diligence, including title and survey review, title objections, lease review, lien and UCC searches Prepare organizational documents and assist with entity formation Draft and manage closing checklists, critical dates, title documents, closing statements, affidavits, and authorizations Assemble and maintain closing binders and transaction files for local and national deals Ideal Candidate
10+ years of experience in commercial real estate, specifically with retail and triple-net properties Exceptionally detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Proactive problem-solver with sound judgment Clear communicator with strong client and team interaction skills Proficient in Microsoft Office and Windows-based applications Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal Certificate preferred (or equivalent experience) Full-time role with flexibility for overtime as needed
