Digital Marketing & Social Media Assistant (Onsite | Contract‑to‑Hire)
Fully Onsite (Mon–Fri)
8am–4pm or 9am–5pm

Marketing Assistant
to support communications, social media, events, and community engagement across multiple company sites. This role is ideal for someone who’s proactive, creative, and comfortable being out in the field
What You’ll Do
Manage and monitor social media channels for engagement, customer service, and recruiting opportunities.
Engage with online communities on behalf of the organization.
Design presentations and communication materials for senior leadership.
Support recruiting initiatives and assist with strategic hiring programs.
Capture and edit photos/videos; maintain a content library for marketing, branding, and safety initiatives.
Write announcements, articles, flyers, and other internal/external communications.
Oversee company newsletter and website in collaboration with the Corporate Communications team.
Coordinate submissions for national/regional awards and recognition.
Lead and support event planning, including community outreach and company “Community Day” events.
Represent the company at local events, charity functions, and outreach programs.
Continuously look for ways to improve communication strategy and brand presence.
Maintain regular, reliable attendance in accordance with workplace expectations.
Ideal Candidate
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience managing social media (approx. 25% of the role)
Event planning experience is a plus
Comfortable traveling between sites
Highly organized, resourceful, and eager to learn
Additional details
This is a contract-to-hire role and is onsite 5 days/week in Morris County
The salary range for this position is 20-25/hr with a converting salary up to 60K. Benefits available to contract/temporary professionals include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance.
