
Job Title: Talent Agent — Beauty, Hair, Makeup & Styling
Location: LA or New York
Position Summary Seeking an experienced Talent Agent with a strong background in beauty, makeup, hair, and styling. The ideal candidate has an established client base, strong industry relationships, and hands‑on booking experience within the beauty and fashion world. You’ll be responsible for pitching artists, generating bookings, and cultivating long‑term relationships with clients, publicists, photographers, producers, and brand partners.
Key Responsibilities Artist Representation & Bookings
Manage and represent a roster of beauty, hair, makeup, and styling talent.
Actively pitch artists to clients and secure bookings across editorial, commercial, celebrity, digital, and advertising opportunities.
Bring existing client connections and relationships to support immediate business impact.
Client Relations & Networking
Build, nurture, and grow relationships with publicists, assistants, producers, photographers, creative directors, celebrity teams, and brand partners.
Attend industry events, activations, and shoots to strengthen the agency’s network.
Develop strategic partnerships that support artist placement and new business.
Industry Knowledge & Cultural Awareness
Stay highly informed on pop culture, current events, fashion trends, celebrity news, and the creative landscape (film, music, art, photography, etc).
Leverage cultural awareness to identify timely opportunities for artist exposure and bookings.
Agency Support & Collaboration
Work closely with the CEO/Founder on strategic direction, roster development, and business growth.
Maintain efficient communication between artists and clients; oversee scheduling, contracts, and negotiations.
Travel as needed for events, shoots, and relationship‑building.
Qualifications
Required: Experience in beauty, hair, makeup, or styling (as an agent, booker, manager, or industry professional).
Proven experience booking beauty and stylist talent with an existing client base.
Strong understanding of the beauty/fashion/entertainment ecosystem.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
Strong industry connections with the ability to bring clients over.
Highly organized with strong follow‑through and attention to detail.
Willingness to travel.
Salary: $110,000–$125,000
