Overview

The In-Plant Execution & Readiness engineering manager supports high impact and time sensitive programs with in a highly dynamic engineering environment. The End Of Line procedures of electrified vehicle powertrains and conventional vehicles. He/she guarantees test updates and the related DVP execution. The main outcome of this work is the design and validation of the production norms that will regulate the “in Plant” operations on Hybrid and Battery Electric Vehicles as key factors of their production. The manager will work cross-functionally to ensure the quality of the Propulsion System by applying system-level thinking to proactively optimize system robustness and lead issue resolution. Working with vehicle assembly plants is required to ensure compliance of theprocess to the one designed and validated. Key Responsibilities

Commonization of EOL-Test process definition/communication to manufacturing among North America, EMEA, LATAM & APAC assembly plants. Developing, testing, and validating battery electric vehicle-based calibrations that achievesuccessful world-class End of Line (EOL) powertrain testing of electrical propulsion systems. Planning, generating, and verifying EOL & Rolls/Dyno calibrations for battery electricvehicles in engineering development, pilot plant and final vehicle assembly/manufacturingenvironments along with generating reports to communicate program status to productmanagement teams. Stride towards a common In-Plant Flash process of all powertrain electric vehicle ECUs toreduce Flash cycle times. (Offline ECU vs In-Vehicle using diagnostic connector) Develop and maintain system verification and integration Pre-Launch & Launch Readinessplanning, documents, reports, requirements documents, and other related technicaldocumentation while ensuring related international standards are applied Support review and approval of design and process changes as well as deviations related tonew battery electric vehicle ECUs. Communicate and collaborate with a wide range of project contributors and stakeholdersspanning the organization, and external partners including technical leaders for product design, development, integration, testing, and reliability improvements. Provide technical expertise and triage support in the investigation of validation issues, rootcause analysis, mitigation, and corrective action plans Actively engage with the design community including component engineers, chiefengineers in developing solutions to urgent product issues Standardization of the tracking and processing of ECU flash files to all assembly plantsutilizing the ELSM process. Early System and Controls software development needs to consider In-Plant testing earlierin the process to reduce downstream validation workload. Leverage early development of EOL In-Plant features utilizing virtual HIL (Hardware In theLoop) tool as well as earlier availability of “Golden Vehicle” needed to validate In-Planttesting processes since HIL simulation validation cannot replicate mechanical “Green Engine” effect. Improve cross function inter-department communication to avoid production issues. EOLtests working properly experiencing failures due to changes in other functional areasimpacting test sequences. Continue to work with Manufacturing for advanced development testing on productionintent rolls equipment/software prior to the first vehicle builds. Construct and own systems-level DVP&R test plan, including hardware-in-the-loop, testbench, powertrain dyno, and electric vehicle interoperability test elements. Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field 8+ years of engineering experience Proficient user of MS Office Suite and Google suite products. Knowledge of battery electric vehicle architectures, operation and networking Knowledge of logging and monitoring strategies and solutions. Capability to execute the EOL process while troubleshooting issues Capability to deal with Norms definition and validation Comfortable working rapidly and independently Good organization with capability to manage multiple projects at one time. Team player with solid interpersonal skills, comfortable in working in a multi -cultural matrix organization. Professional communication and presentation skills (both verbal and written). Fluent English (speaking, reading, writing) PES / PAV Training for High Voltage Availability to business trips. Preferred Qualifications

Master\'s degree or equivalent experience MatlabSimulink knowledge, and Hardware In the Loop environments Knowledge of Data Visualization Tools Functional programming with Scala Extensive knowledge and hands on use of INCA, CDA, CAN, CANalyzer, Canoe, and other electrical root cause tools
