
Associate Technical Marketing Manager
Leader in their industry, our exciting global SaaS construction platform client seeks a contract Associate Technical Marketing Manager. This is a hybrid role in Austin, TX.
We’re looking for an Associate Technical Marketing Manager to join Technical Marketing team for the next six months, with the possibility of longer term opportunity. Technical Marketing is a newer Product Marketing function that creates content, tools, and templates that visually show our solutions to help drive market awareness and adoption. As an Assoc Technical Marketing Mgr (ATMM) you will support the Technical Marketing team as a project coordinator across key deliverables and in creating content for specific sales activities. The ATMM assists in the delivery of field enablement materials, ensuring sales and customer success teams are equipped to demo the client platform. A successful ATMM is eager to learn, focused on execution, and collaborates closely with colleagues in product marketing, product management, and sales.
Contract Duration:
6-Months + extensions
Required Skills & Experience
One to two years of experience in Marketing or Field Sales is helpful/useful but not required. Entry-level candidates with relevant internships will be considered.
Presentation Skills: Basic comfort with presenting or co-presenting content, including supporting the creation of presentation materials.
Experience working with cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales, Product) in a supportive role.
Eagerness to learn about product areas within a matrixed team/organization.
Desire to grow and develop into new product areas and the broader client platform.
Ability to travel up 10% of the time
This is a mid-level role (not entry level). Seeking candidates who come from Marketing Project Coordination and/or Associate Project Management w/marketing emphasis type backgrounds.
One to two years of experience in Marketing or Field Sales is helpful/useful but not required.
Strong preference for candidates with comfort and experience using JIRA for managing work. This person will be owning JIRA management for our team.
Desired Skills & Experience
Prior experience working in SaaS, especially in support of product launches, a plus.
Production Skills: Basic writing and editing skills; familiarity with video, photo editing, and/or demo creation tools is a plus.
A connection to the construction industry and or the con-tech landscape is a plus.
What You Will Be Doing
Daily Responsibilities
The Associate Technical Marketing Manager will work closely with colleagues in Technical Marketing to help translate product features into compelling visual stories and enablement resources in ways such as:
Support in the creation of Product Content
Assist with project and content creation logistics
Help coordinate Product Release Programs
Support event preparation for the client’s Groundbreak and construction industry events
Maintain and support use of key technology tools such as JIRA
Assist in the creation of powerful story narratives that visually communicate the value of client products and platform, such as draft videos, simple screenshots, demo recordings, or webinar content.
Learn to configure and stage product instances for basic value-based use cases.
Support the visual product marketing efforts for new product features and product investments by creating foundational knowledge assets.
Engage with Product Management, Product Strategy, Solutions Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to gather information needed for enablement assets.
Help assess the needs for new basic content, tools, and documentation.
Support the Technical Marketing Manager in working with sales and customer success to identify and close gaps in client solution visual assets.
