What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Provide key stakeholders with critical business insights and performance metrics through complex data analysis methods and modeling
Translate complex business needs into actionable data modeling exercises
Communicate results and recommended action items to key stakeholders based on analytical findings
Act as a liaison between Analytics and operational departments within the market
Participate in business process improvement efforts to enhance organizational effectiveness and reporting
What is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Finance, Actuarial Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative/data science area; Master’s degree preferred
Minimum of three years of experience working for a health plan or medical group in a Medical Economics or Provider Economics capacity
Excellent communication, analytical, facilitation, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); Access and/or SQL strongly preferred
Strong interest in working with large, complex data sets and learning healthcare industry concepts
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience in data process modeling and quantitative reasoning
Previous involvement in business process improvement initiatives
Familiarity with healthcare industry concepts and analytics tools
