
Overview
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, tech savvy Investor Reporting Analyst to join our Investor Reporting Operations team, for which the timely and accurate preparation, review, and distribution of financial reports and communications to our clients is paramount. This role requires strong analytical skills, a penchant for accuracy, and a knack for communicating complex financial concepts and technical issues to clients in clear and concise terms. A solid understanding of financial reporting principles, preferably within the fixed income space, will help immensely but the successful candidate will be able to absorb this knowledge while working through reporting operations and addressing user issues and inquiries over time. The Support Analyst will not only provide critical support to the Investor Reporting team but serve as a key liaison between LoanStreet’s Sales, Trading, Reporting, Finance and Engineering teams as well as external clients to ensure delivery of products and services that exceed investor expectations. Responsibilities
Actively participate in the monthly reporting process to ingest loan data and deliver timely accurate investor reports to hundreds of clients across a multitude of financial products Maintain and update investor reporting templates, procedures, and documentation Onboard new clients and historical information by reviewing file structures with the aim of fitting them into the framework of LoanStreet’s participations platform and standard reports Engage with clients on an ongoing basis to fill in information gaps on existing data feeds Manage Quality Assurance and Regression testing of LoanStreet’s Software and Reports Conduct insightful, ad hoc analyses to investigate ongoing or one-time operational issues Identify opportunities for process improvement and increased reporting workflow efficiencies Gather, reconcile, and validate data from various sources, using a suite of in house tools to assist in the preparation and review of customized monthly, quarterly, and annual investor reports Triage support tickets, resolve discrepancies and address investor inquiries related to reporting Provide platform training, basic report reviews and ongoing support to external clients Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in financial reporting, loan servicing, or a related field. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or other data analysis tools. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly and concisely to both coworkers and clients. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines. Familiarity with Jira or other project / task management tools. Experience with HubSpot, ServiceDesk or other CRM Software. Willingness to learn about complex financial instruments and how they behave. Passion for technology, experience with web apps and comfort with command lines.
