Job Summary The Designer will play a key role in conceptualizing, developing, and refining product portfolio. This individual will translate customer insights, market trends, and engineering requirements into visually compelling, user-centered designs. The ideal candidate brings strong aesthetic judgment, a passion for materials and manufacturing, and the ability to move fluidly from concept sketching to CAD development to final presentation.

This role is highly collaborative, partnering closely with engineering, product management, sales, and manufacturing teams to deliver innovative solutions that reflect brand and performance standards.

Responsibilities

Lead or support the design of new products and fixtures from concept through production readiness.

Develop sketches, renderings, 3D models, and prototypes to communicate design intent.

Design, document, and detail custom store fixtures, cabinetry, millwork, or retail display components.

Produce detailed drawings and specifications, ensuring designs are buildable, cost-effective, and compliant with manufacturing standards.

Conduct user research, competitive benchmarking, and market analysis to inform design direction.

Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to refine concepts for feasibility and production.

Work closely with suppliers on materials, finishes, and fabrication details (wood, metal, plastics, solid surface, etc.).

Present design concepts and revisions to internal teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

Trained and or certified in Industrial Design, Product Design or Store Fixture submittal industry highly preferred (Bachelor's Degree not required)

3–7 years of professional experience in product design, store fixture design, millwork detailing, or retail environment development.

Strong portfolio demonstrating concept development, 3D modeling, and technical detailing for fabricated components, including submittal drawings

Proficiency in CAD and visualization tools (SolidWorks, Rhino, AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, KeyShot, Adobe Creative Suite, or Autodesk Inventor).

Solid understanding of manufacturing processes including millwork, metal fabrication, injection molding, MEP and sheet goods.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

High attention to detail and craftsmanship.
