Social Media Marketing Manager – Baker College Baker College, honored as one of Michigan’s 2024 & 2025 Best and Brightest Workplaces, is seeking a creative, data‑driven Social Media Marketing Manager to amplify our digital presence and bring our state‑of‑the‑art Royal Oak campus to life online.

Responsibilities

Develop, execute, and analyze paid, earned, owned, and shared media campaigns to increase brand awareness, follower growth, and engagement with prospective students.

Collaborate closely with the Marketing and Communications department’s creative teams and vendor partners to create compelling content that aligns with Baker’s student‑first philosophy.

Manage and optimize Baker’s business pages on all major social platforms, ensuring consistent brand messaging and highest level of audience interaction.

Track key performance metrics, prepare regular reporting, and use data insights to refine campaign performance and future strategy.

Act as a positive role model and brand ambassador on and off campus, representing Baker College in a professional and respectful manner.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in marketing, liberal arts, business, or a related field.

Professional experience managing business pages on social media platforms, with proven success in increasing follower growth and engagement.

Hands‑on experience with social media marketing technology and tools such as AgoraPulse, Curator.io, Hootsuite, HubSpot, or Marketing Cloud.

Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate data insights into actionable campaign improvements.

Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills, with a collaborative, team‑player attitude.

Commitment to Baker College’s student‑first philosophy and a passion for connecting with students, faculty, staff, and community members.
