Position Overview As part of the marketing team, the Project Specialist – Marketing Events will serve as a key liaison between internal teams, external partners, and vendors to ensure successful execution of events from initial booking through post-event follow-up. This role manages event deliverables such as calendars, timelines, vendor coordination, and internal deliverables, with clear communication and documentation throughout the process. The specialist also plays a role in financial tracking and operational efficiency, including processing purchase orders, managing expenses, and collaborating with leadership to ensure accurate reporting. By creating alignment across departments and ensuring timely delivery of all components, the Project Specialist helps create impactful events that elevate brand presence and deliver measurable results.

Essential Functions
Serves as a main point of contact for internal and external clients on events, providing clear communication from booking through planning and event execution.
Submit trade show documents including insurance documents, floor plans, and requests for rigging, internet, electrical, cleaning, material handling, show hall labor, and other deliverables. Track show document deadlines to maximize advance deadlines and meet show-specific requirements.
Meet all payment schedules, create and receive all purchase orders, and process and track all expenses for each event, including payments for the Exhibit department. Work with leadership and finance partners to properly assign accrued expenses to the correct accounts. Reconcile monthly purchase card expenses for the department.
Establish processes for event planning, asset inventory, and other deliverables that streamline and optimize operations, including using software such as ExhibtForce.
Create and maintain accurate event calendars and documentation to ensure clear alignment across departments.
Provide support for event staff as needed, including participation at events, supporting warehouse staff, and other required deliverables.
Manage post-event follow-up, working with marketing leadership on budget timing and tracking show assets.
Coordinate with Event Lead on attendee resources such as hotels, uniforms/clothing, giveaways, and other show tasks.
Diversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable.

Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field is required.
Previous experience in project management and/or marketing, especially with tradeshows or events.
Experience managing all project timelines and providing solutions when delays arise.
Timely responsiveness to requests and ability to manage multiple assignments and details under tight timelines.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to remain calm, professional, and solution-oriented under pressure.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and colleagues at all levels.
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with fishing and/or boating (professional or personal).
Experience with Exhibit Force, tradeshow platforms, and other event software.
Compensation and Benefits The anticipated pay range for this position is $49,900 - $92,700 annually. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on knowledge, experience, business needs, and location. In addition to base pay, the position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Brunswick emphasizes that compensation decisions depend on the candidate’s qualifications and the business context.
