Outside Sales Representative - Remote
Our client designs and manufactures high-quality, fast-turn souvenir and gift products for tourist destinations, attractions, and specialty retailers and provides decorated apparel solutions including headwear, garments, and custom apparel programs tailored for the same destination and retail customers.
We are seeking a motivated
Outside Sales Representative
to grow and manage relationships with retail customers across an assigned territory. This role represents
souvenir and gift products
and
apparel products , allowing the sales rep to deliver a broader, more profitable product offering to customers.
This position requires regular travel within the territory and attendance at approximately 10 industry tradeshows per year.
The ideal candidate brings experience in
gift, souvenir, promotional products, apparel, or a related wholesale industry , and is comfortable working independently in a field-based sales role.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and grow sales within an assigned territory through in-person visits, calls, and follow-ups
Prospect and onboard new retail accounts, including tourist shops, attractions, museums, resorts, and specialty retailers
Present and sell
souvenir and gift product lines
Present and sell
apparel and headwear programs , including custom and seasonal offerings
Represent company at 10+ regional and national tradeshows annually , including booth staffing, customer meetings, and lead follow-up
Maintain strong relationships with existing accounts to drive repeat orders and cross-category growth
Understand customer needs and recommend coordinated souvenir and apparel assortments that maximize sell-through
Manage the full sales cycle, from initial presentation through order placement and follow-up
Track activities, opportunities, and customer notes using CRM tools
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate orders, timelines, and customer satisfaction
Stay informed on industry trends, competitive products, and market opportunities
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of outside sales experience, preferably in
souvenirs, gifts, apparel, or promotional products
Ability and willingness to travel for tradeshows , in addition to regular territory travel
Proven ability to prospect, build relationships, and close new business
Strong communication and presentation skills
Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage time independently
Familiarity with CRM systems and basic sales reporting
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
