Armag Corporation is seeking a motivated and organized Marketing and Operations Coordinator to support the Sales and Marketing team in driving awareness, improving coordination, and supporting business growth. This new position strengthens communication between the sales team, marketing agency partners, and company leadership.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn, with an interest in marketing coordination, customer engagement, and sales operations. An interest in the defense and government sales industry is highly desirable, as this position provides a strong foundation and potential growth into an inside or outside sales role within Armag’s specialized business areas.
Responsibilities: Marketing Support:
Coordinate with external marketing agency on content creation, digital campaigns, and brand consistency.
Develop, maintain, and coordinate marketing materials, website updates, and social media content to ensure brand consistency.
Manage logistics for trade shows, conferences, and customer events, including travel coordination, booth setup, and materials.
Track and report on marketing performance metrics and campaign outcomes.
Monitor industry trends, market signals, and competitor activity to position and message product growth.
Develop target account list and market capture initiatives.
Operational Coordination:
Support sales and marketing data management within CRM and ERP systems.
Assist the sales team with documentation, scheduling, and follow-ups between internal teams, customers, and partners.
Track marketing and event budgets, review and reconcile invoice and payments.
Coordinate schedules, travel logistics, and meeting preparation for the sales team.
Compile and maintain sales strategy documents, analytics, and performance reports to support data-driven decision-making and team alignment.
Communications and Collaboration:
Serve as a point of contact for vendors, partners, and internal departments on marketing and operational matters.
Develop and manage consistent communication with key contacts, partners, and stakeholders to strengthen relationships and maintain alignment on ongoing initiatives.
Support continuous process improvement and alignment across teams.
Manage customer satisfaction and coordinate feedback follow up.
Support special projects and strategic initiatives assigned by senior leadership.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications.
0–3 years of relevant experience in marketing, communications, or business operations. Internship or co-op experience a plus.
Excellent organization and multitasking skills with strong attention to detail.
Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
Proactive, self-starting attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.
Proficiency with MS 365 (Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Experience using Canva for marketing and design projects.
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Foxit for document editing and PDF management.
Comfortable learning and using ERP/CRM systems for coordination and reporting.
