My client is an Indianapolis-based general contractor providing full-service multifamily construction, design-build, and construction management services. Job Description

The Superintendent will:

• Conduct daily site walks to monitor progress, enforce quality standards, and establish next-day priorities
• Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, confirm scopes of work, and ensure all trades align with the critical path
• Oversee subcontractor performance through daily check-ins while enforcing contractual requirements and safety standards
• Lead toolbox talks and perform routine safety inspections to maintain a compliant and safe job-site
• Review and process RFIs, submittals, change orders, and daily reports using Procore
• Verify material deliveries, inspect installations, and proactively resolve workmanship or sequencing issues
• Lead trade coordination meetings and clearly communicate schedule, quality, and scope updates to the project team

The Successful Applicant

The Successful Superintendent will have:

• 5+ years of experience delivering multifamily or senior living projects
• A proven track record managing ground-up and podium/wood-frame multifamily construction
• Strong, clear communication skills with the ability to effectively coordinate trades, vendors, inspectors, and ownership teams
• Hands-on scheduling and sequencing expertise to maintain and protect the critical path
• A decisive, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to anticipate challenges and implement practical resolutions
• Demonstrated success managing subcontractor performance while enforcing contractual obligations and safety standards
• Strong attention to detail with disciplined documentation practices, including RFIs, submittals, daily logs, and proficiency in Procore
