Head of Business Operations Rhombus Power Inc. (Rhombus) delivers AI‑powered predictive intelligence in real‑time for defense and national security organizations worldwide. Our mission‑built products—Ambient AI and Guardian—are transforming strategic, operational, and tactical decision‑making by empowering the shift from reactive analysis to proactive, predictive intelligence.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Business Operations to lead our operations team. This role requires U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Residence.

Responsibilities

Plan, budget, and efficiently scale the company’s operations across human resources, recruiting, facilities, office administration, and security teams.

Optimize operational processes across departments to ensure smooth and secure operations, supporting rapid growth and security requirements.

Oversee recruitment and development of world‑class teams, fostering a culture of leadership, accountability, and collaboration.

Manage and optimize physical office spaces, oversee facility expansion and operationalization, and sustain secure facilities in line with industry security standards.

Lead initiatives to meet security requirements and compliance with defense‑related regulations, working closely with legal, HR, and security teams.

Implement and enhance tools for tracking operational metrics across HR, recruiting, and facilities to drive informed decision‑making and continuous improvement.

Collaborate with the executive team to align operational strategy with the company’s growth goals and product development.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in business operations, ideally within the defense or technology industries.

Proven track record of scaling operations within a fast‑growing start‑up, managing multi‑location facilities and rapid employee headcount growth.

Strong understanding of defense‑related security requirements and regulations, with experience creating a compliant and secure operational environment.

Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to build and lead diverse, cross‑functional teams and create alignment across departments.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, maintaining productive relationships with internal teams, senior leadership, and external partners or regulatory bodies.

Experience driving operational efficiency and using data to inform process improvements and scalability.
