Overview

This field property adjuster role focuses on on-site inspections, coverage investigations, estimates, and prompt settlements, with additional work on virtual claims nationwide, using tools such as Xactimate and ClaimsX Video Collaboration. The focus area is water losses. Responsibilities

Travel to customers’ homes to conduct on-site inspections, investigate coverage, prepare estimates, and settle claims promptly and efficiently.

Handle virtual claims countrywide using appropriate platforms and software.

Specialize in water losses to provide high-quality support and resolution for these claims.

Collaborate with customers to deliver a fast, fair, and easy claims process, choosing preferred communication channels and keeping customers updated on claim progress.

Document thoroughly and maintain accurate records in the claims system.

The Recorder – ensure timely, accurate documentation and adherence to policy terms.

Preferred Qualifications

Reside within 30 miles of the metropolitan Huntsville, AL area.

2–3 years of outside adjuster experience preferred.

Proficiency with Xactimate and related estimating software.

Strong critical thinking and technical skills for accurate damages assessment and expedited settlements.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for superior customer service.

Ability to travel to customers’ homes and handle virtual claims nationwide.

Detail-oriented and organized with focus on high-quality work.

Residency within the posted location is required.

Ability to carry and use a 50-pound ladder and access up to a 6/12 pitch on typical roofs.

Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.

Training and Licensing

Comprehensive training to build a claims foundation and understand systems and processes.

Ongoing on-the-job training opportunities.

Note:

You will be required to attend 2 weeks of training in Wheeling, IL. Licensing and Compliance

Some offices may require adjuster and/or appraiser licenses, including background checks. If applicable, licenses must be secured within 60 days of hire.

The Hiring Manager will coordinate with the Centralized Licensing team to ensure proper licensing.

Compensation and Benefits

Base compensation offered: $68,000–$115,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.

Total compensation may include incentive pay where applicable.

Includes comprehensive benefits from Day 1 (healthcare, retirement, paid time off, and more).

Additional Information

Sign-on bonus: up to $1,000 licensing bonus if applicable active licenses are held. Not available to current or former Allstate employees.

Company car eligibility depends on mileage and guidelines; mileage reimbursement available for personal vehicle use when applicable.
