Overview
We’re seeking a Director of Continuous Improvement to lead our lean transformation efforts and drive operational excellence across the organization. This role will build and lead a high-performing team, embed lean principles into daily operations, and deliver measurable results that enhance productivity, reduce waste, and maximize customer value. Responsibilities
Lead and develop the continuous improvement team in collaboration with regional leadership. Drive lean transformation strategies aligned with business goals. Facilitate Kaizen events, workshops, and training on lean tools (5S, Six Sigma, Kanban). Partner with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements. Establish and track KPIs to measure success of initiatives. Present performance results and improvement opportunities to senior leadership. Stay ahead of industry best practices and promote a culture of continuous improvement. Qualifications
10+ years in lean management, process improvement, or operations leadership (packaging/corrugated industry experience preferred). 5+ years of leadership experience managing CI teams. Expertise in lean tools and methodologies (5S, VSM, Six Sigma, Kanban). Proven results in project/change management. Strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills. Six Sigma or Lean certifications a plus. Candidate ideally located near one of these major airports: Philadelphia, PA; Atlanta, GA; Charlotte, NC; Tampa, FL. Travel: 40-60%. Role Details
