WHAT YOU’LL DO As Senior Counsel at Fixer, you’ll provide thoughtful, business-focused legal and compliance support to a wide range of clients across the fashion, retail, beauty, luxury, wellness, tech, and creative industries. Our clients operate in fast-paced, high-growth environments, and you’ll be a trusted partner who brings both rigor and flexibility to help them move forward with confidence. You’ll support multiple client relationships simultaneously, working closely with several General Counsels as part of Fixer’s fractional GC legal model. In this role, you will serve as a senior execution and thought partner—driving day-to-day legal work, managing complex matters, and helping ensure consistent, high-quality delivery across client portfolios. This role offers meaningful exposure to client teams, business and legal decision-making, direct accountability, and regular collaboration with Fixer’s senior legal team, cross-functional partners and extended network of providers. You’ll take ownership of your work while staying aligned with team priorities and the broader client strategy. WHAT THE ROLE INVOLVES This is a fast-paced, high-accountability role where responsiveness, ownership, and practical judgment are essential. You’ll support clients on a range of legal matters, including: Commercial Agreements:

Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including license, distribution and manufacturing agreements, technology and logistics agreements, brand collaboration agreements, wholesale and concession agreements, influencer and talent deals, services agreements, data protection agreements, marketing agreements, NDAs, terms of sale and terms of use. You’ll manage contracts from start to finish, often on tight timelines, and develop templates and provisions that meet client needs. Corporate & Transactional Support : Handle governance needs, including formation documents, board resolutions, and filings. Support diligence and integration work in M&A or investment transactions, coordinating with clients and cross-functional teams. Employment:

Support General Counsels with day-to-day employment law advice and counseling. Draft, review, and edit a variety of employment-related documents, including onboarding and offboarding and performance management documents, as well as policies and procedures. Intellectual Property:

Provide day-to-day IP support, including brand enforcement, licensing, advising on IP related matters and coordination with external counsel. Compliance : Advise clients on a variety of operational and regulatory compliance matters relevant to retail, fashion, jewelry, manufacturing, employee and consumer protection. Legal Research & General Counsel Support : Address nuanced, real-world legal questions; support General Counsels on strategy, risk analysis, and escalation matters; and develop practical resources, such as checklists and toolkits, for clients and the Fixer team. Cross–General Counsel Collaboration:

Partner with multiple General Counsels to support their client portfolios, help manage matter flow and priorities, and ensure consistency in work product, communication, and client experience across clients. Internal & Special Projects : Support occasional Fixer internal initiatives that involve legal components. CLIENT ENGAGEMENT You’ll work directly with client stakeholders and be seen as a trusted resource. Develop strong relationships with client stakeholders and deep understanding of client businesses. Demonstrate curiosity and seek out background and context that will enable you to provide the most effective work product and advice to each client. Consistently demonstrate urgency, ownership and professionalism in all client interactions. Proactively communicate status updates, anticipate client needs, and deliver timely solutions-oriented responses—even when managing multiple priorities. Comfortably manage high-volume workloads with agility, attention to detail, and a focus on solutions. Communicate clearly and effectively with clients to ensure projects move forward in a timely manner, always ensuring that the Fixer team is in alignment with the clients’ needs. Maintain accurate client status updates and project trackers to ensure clear internal and external visibility. You will manage day-to-day client interactions independently, while appropriately escalating strategic, sensitive, or high-risk issues to the relevant General Counsel. Ability to manage a large volume of matters across a wide variety of subject matters with varying degrees of urgency and complexity High emotional intelligence, trustworthiness, and a team-oriented spirit. Fluency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Slack, and Airtable experience is a plus. QUALIFICATIONS J.D. from a top law school and active good standing with the NY and/or CA Bar. 5–8+ years of relevant in-house and/or top law firm experience, with demonstrated ability to operate independently while supporting senior legal leadership. Experience with luxury, fashion, retail, or consumer goods is a strong plus. LOCATION This role is primarily NYC-based. The ideal candidate will live in or near New York City and be able to attend in-person meetings at Fixer’s office and with clients as needed. While we offer hybrid flexibility, regular in-person presence is expected. Exceptional candidates within a longer commuting distance may be considered. COMPENSATION Base of $225,000 to $250,000, based on experience and location. ADDITIONAL BENEFITS: PTO & Sick Time
