Position Overview We are seeking a Project Superintendent – Commercial Interiors to support and lead day-to-day field operations across active interior construction projects. This role is ideal for a driven field professional looking to step into greater responsibility, expand technical leadership skills, and grow within a performance-oriented construction team.
You will work closely with project management, subcontractors, and leadership to ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with contract documents—while gaining exposure to higher-level project controls, scheduling, and cost awareness.
Core Responsibilities: Field Operations & Site Coordination
Assist in overseeing daily site operations for assigned commercial interior projects
Coordinate and monitor subcontractor activities on site
Ensure work is performed safely, on schedule, and to quality standards
Enforce drawings, specifications, and approved submittals
Maintain current
as-built drawings
on site
Support punch-list completion, close-out, and warranty follow-ups
Safety & Compliance
Maintain OSHA standards and jobsite safety practices
OSHA-10 is not required at hire
Company will pay for OSHA-10 course and exam
for qualified candidates
Possession of OSHA-10 at time of hire is a
strong plus
Scheduling & Planning
Assist with construction schedules and plan reviews
Produce and maintain
two-week look-ahead schedules
(weekly)
Coordinate sequencing and logistics with subcontractors
Track material lead times and notify project team of risks
Subcontractor & Trade Support
Work directly with subcontractors to ensure quality and schedule compliance
Review subcontractor scopes of work with project management
Support submittal review and coordination
Track and document
additional work
and field changes
Help build and maintain strong subcontractor relationships
Documentation & Reporting
Complete
daily electronic field logs
Provide weekly site progress photos
Maintain organized site documentation per company procedures
Respond to group emails daily
Ability to use computers and electronics
Ability to use AI software, trained by us
Team & Growth Contributions
Participate in project interviews and preconstruction efforts as needed
Support business development activities and marketing events
Contribute to a positive, professional jobsite culture
Demonstrate readiness to grow into full superintendent responsibility
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of field experience
in commercial or interiors construction
Ability to read construction drawings and coordinate trades
Willingness to obtain
OSHA-10 certification
(company-paid)
Basic scheduling, documentation, and communication skills
Construction Management, Engineering, or related education
preferred but not required
