We are seeking a motivated and growth-driven Mortgage Team Leader to help scale and expand our lending platform. This is a hybrid role designed for a producing loan officer who wants to continue originating loans while also playing a leadership role in mentoring, coaching, and developing other loan officers. This position is built for a high-performing mortgage professional who wants to increase overall impact and production without stepping away from their personal book of business. The Mortgage Team Leader will remain actively involved in day-to-day loan origination while helping guide and support loan officers through sales strategy, follow-up, and performance growth. In this role, you will have access to hundreds of established real estate relationships and thousands of inbound mortgage leads each month generated through Realtor.com and Zillow, providing strong support for both personal production and team success. The role combines hands‑on production with leadership, allowing the Mortgage Team Leader to lead by example, drive team momentum, and contribute to a collaborative, performance-focused lending environment built around loan officer growth.

Responsibilities

Oversee loan quality and ensure they meet company policies, as well as state, regional, and federal guidelines

Market and promote our company with business partners and referral networks such as realtors, with strong attention to reputation management

Maintain and enforce branch policies, procedures, and protocols are followed by all team members

Excel in meeting all pipeline, sales management, and new business generation goals to increase market share

Qualifications

Current NMLS or state license preferred

Confident in all phases of the mortgage loan origination process with a firm grasp on products and regulations such as FHA, USDA, VA, and conventional residential mortgage loans

Exceptional communication skills, and strong judgment and decision making skills

Compensation $95,000 - $125,000 at plan earnings
