Position Overview We are seeking a motivated, client-focused Mortgage Loan Officer to join our San Diego team. This role is ideal for a licensed loan officer who thrives in a fast-paced, relationship-driven environment and wants access to consistent lead opportunities , strong operational support, and direct collaboration with an in-house real estate team.
You will be responsible for originating residential mortgage loans, guiding borrowers through the lending process, and building long-term referral relationships—while leveraging Elevate’s systems, marketing, and partner real estate platform.

Key Responsibilities
Originate and manage residential mortgage loans (purchase and refinance)
Consult with clients to assess financial needs and recommend loan products
Pre-qualify and pre-approve buyers in coordination with Elevate Real Estate agents
Maintain clear communication with borrowers, agents, processors, and underwriters
Build and nurture relationships with real estate partners and referral sources
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and company lending regulations
Deliver exceptional customer service from application through closing
Qualifications
Active NMLS license (California required)
Minimum 1 year of mortgage origination experience preferred
Strong knowledge of conventional, FHA, VA, and jumbo loan products
Excellent communication, organization, and follow-up skills
Self-motivated with a sales-driven mindset
Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively with a real estate team
