The firm is seeking a
Commercial Real Estate Attorney with 3–7 years of experience
to handle a diverse mix of transactional real estate matters. The ideal candidate will be comfortable running smaller deals independently while supporting partners on more complex transactions. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney seeking more autonomy, client contact, and high‑quality work within a lean, supportive team. Key Responsibilities
Draft, review, and negotiate real estate transaction documents, including: Purchase & sale agreements Commercial leases (office, retail, industrial) Loan documents and financing agreements Joint venture and operating agreements Conduct and oversee due diligence: title, survey, environmental, entity formation, zoning, and diligence correspondence. Coordinate closings, manage timelines, and communicate with all transaction stakeholders. Advise clients on real estate development, acquisitions/dispositions, leasing strategies, and financing structures. Support partners on complex deals while managing a personal docket of small–mid size transactions. Maintain strong client relationships through responsive, solution‑oriented communication. Required Qualifications
J.D. from an accredited law school; active New York Bar admission in good standing. 3–7 years of commercial real estate experience , preferably within a law firm. Strong drafting and negotiating skills with demonstrated experience in at least one of the following: Acquisitions / dispositions Commercial leasing Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment. Strong business sense, attention to detail, and communication skills. Comfortable working directly with clients and taking ownership of deliverables. Preferred Qualifications
Experience with mixed‑use or multi‑family projects. Familiarity with Westchester and NYC market norms. Ability to supervise a paralegal on diligence or closing tasks.
