Interim Procurement Director (Remote) Location:

Remote Engagement:

Interim / Contract (with potential to extend through permanent hire transition) We are seeking a seasoned

Procurement Director or VP-level leader

to support a short-term assessment and interim leadership engagement for a growing organization. This role will evaluate current procurement operations and provide strategic recommendations to streamline purchasing and vendor contracting processes in preparation for anticipated growth over the next 12-24 months.

Responsibilities

Conduct a focused assessment of current procurement, PO, and vendor contracting processes

Deliver practical recommendations to improve efficiency, scalability, and controls

Evaluate procurement needs in the context of near- and mid-term organizational growth

Work within existing systems including

NetSuite and Concur

Partner with a small team consisting of one Procurement Manager and one Support resource

Assist in developing the job description for the future Procurement Manager role

Provide resume review and interview support, as needed

Remain on as

Interim Procurement Director

until a permanent leader is hired and transitioned

Scope & Time Commitment

Initial assessment estimated at

under 50 hours

Opportunity to extend engagement through interim leadership phase

Qualifications

Prior experience as a

Procurement Director or VP-level leader

Hands-on, "been in the seat" procurement leadership experience

Strong background in process assessment, optimization, and vendor management

Experience supporting growing or scaling organizations preferred

Comfortable operating in a lean team environment
