Tim Lewis Communities is seeking an experienced
Sales Consultant
to sell new Townhome units in Petaluma, CA. You will work independently as a licensed real estate agent, guiding buyers from first contact through to escrow and close.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Meet with prospective buyers, demonstrate the product, and negotiate to close sales, including upgrades. Pre‑qualify customers, present plans, and follow up. Engage buyers in person, by phone, and email to ensure a smooth transaction from point of sale, loan coordination, through escrow. Meet monthly quotas. (75%)
Collect and review local competition sales information for management. (5%)
Prepare and submit sales contracts. Review and revise option pricing information regularly to avoid contract errors. (5%)
Interface with Construction, Customer Care, and Purchasing to address buyers’ concerns, construction schedules, or issues. (5%)
Prepare and submit sales activity reports to management. Update customer information and provide reports such as territory sales forecasts, new account updates, and cancellations. (10%)

Requirements Minimum Education and/or Experience :
AA plus 5 years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
New home sales experience required.
Pay : Hourly, plus commission.

Intermediate Word Skills: Basic skills plus convert text to table, change page orientation, align table, insert page break, add page numbering, create bulleted list, sort list, create merge form letter, insert merge field, run merge, print envelope.
Basic Excel Skills: Begin formula, edit formula, sort range, insert row, use SUM function, align text, preview worksheet, move between worksheets, go to cell, move formula, change column width.
Database management software experience preferred.
Equipment Used Must have suitable car to transport buyers to lots within community.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Must have valid California Real Estate License and Driver’s License and valid auto insurance policy.
