What you'll do:
Execute large crypto trades across exchanges and OTC desks
Build tools and automation to optimize trade execution and reduce slippage
Work directly with the founder to systematize his trading approach
Light quant/dev work—think Python scripts, data analysis, execution algos
Help scale operations as capital and complexity grow
What we're looking for:
2-8 years at a prop trading firm, crypto fund, or market maker
Programming skills (Python preferred) and comfort building tools
Understanding of execution, market microstructure, and crypto markets
Interest in crypto and living in Puerto Rico for 2-3 years
The setup:
Location:
Puerto Rico (beachfront office, serious social scene for expats and crypto people)
Comp:
Up to $400K USD + major tax benefits (PR has favorable tax treatment—your after-tax is significantly better than mainland US)
Who this is for: Someone from prop who wants a change of pace, likes building things, is crypto-curious, and is up for an adventure. You don't need to be the genius trader, you need to be excellent at execution, automation, and supporting someone who is.
