Peregrine Hospitality is seeking a Senior Director of Business Intelligence to lead the company’s analytics and reporting capabilities across its hotel and resort portfolio. This role is responsible for transforming operational and financial data into clear, actionable insights that support decision-making at the executive, property, and portfolio levels.
The ideal candidate brings deep hospitality experience and understands how data supports revenue performance, labor efficiency, guest experience, and overall profitability. This is a business-focused leadership role that partners closely with Finance, Operations, Revenue Management, and Technology teams.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Peregrine Hospitality’s business intelligence strategy and execution.
Define and maintain the BI roadmap aligned to business priorities and operational needs.
Establish reporting standards, metric definitions, and consistent dashboards across properties and brands.
Deliver trusted insights across revenue, labor, guest experience, and financial performance.
Oversee the BI technology ecosystem, including DataVision, Power BI, ProfitSword, and Opera PMS.
Lead vendor collaboration and integration efforts to ensure data from PMS, POS, labor, and financial systems is accurately and consistently delivered into DataVision and other data warehouse platforms.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance across all reporting.
Partner with executive leadership to support strategic planning, performance reviews, and board-level reporting.
Drive adoption of BI tools and reporting across the organization through enablement and change management.
Fully train business users and leaders to ensure analytics are understood, trusted, and actively used.
Team Structure & Scope This role will initially operate as a highly hands-on individual contributor, responsible for building the Business Intelligence function from the ground up. The Senior Director will define the BI roadmap and strategy, project manage initiatives, execute and build reporting solutions, and establish foundational processes and standards.
The role will also lead adoption across the organization through direct engagement, training, and embedding analytics into daily decision-making. As the program matures, this role will help inform future team structure and resourcing needs.
Qualifications
10+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or data leadership.
Demonstrated ability to adjust level of detail, language, and framing from GM-level operational reporting to executive and board-level materials.
Required hospitality experience within hotels, resorts, or hospitality management companies.
Hands-on experience with DataVision, ProfitSword, Opera PMS, and Power BI.
Strong understanding of hotel operations, revenue management, and financial reporting.
Proven ability to operate independently while building scalable programs.
Strong communication skills with the ability to translate data into clear business insight.
Preferred Experience
Multi-property or portfolio-level hospitality experience.
Experience supporting executive, board, or investor reporting.
Background in finance, revenue management, or operations analytics.
Experience standing up or modernizing BI and reporting programs.
