Job Title : Salesforce Developer
Location : Pleasanton, CA has to be onsite 3-4 days a week
Duration : 6 – 12 m contract with extension
Roles & Responsibilities
Salesforce Development & Customization
Design, develop, and maintain custom solutions using Apex (classes, triggers, batch jobs, scheduled jobs), Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Visualforce.
Configure Salesforce using Flows, Workflows, Process Builder, Validation Rules, Custom Objects, Page Layouts, and Record Types.
Implement scalable data models and ensure alignment with Salesforce best practices.
Implement and enhance features across Sales Cloud (Leads, Opportunities, Accounts, Forecasting) and Service Cloud (Cases, Omni‑Channel, Knowledge, Entitlements).
Build scalable and maintainable solutions aligned with Salesforce architecture guidelines.
Integrations
Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external systems using
REST/SOAP APIs ,
platform events , middleware (e.g., MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Informatica), or native connectors.
Ensure secure and high‑performance data exchange across systems.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with business analysts, admins, Architect, QA, and product teams to translate business requirements into technical designs.
Provide technical expertise and guidance during requirement grooming and solution design sessions.
Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and deployment planning.
Maintenance & Support
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to Salesforce functionality, integrations, or data.
Ensure proper testing, documentation, and version control for all development work.
Stay current with Salesforce releases and recommend improvements.
Must have
4-year Degree in Computer Science. Masters in computer science Preferred
Salesforce certifications such as:
Salesforce Platform Developer I & II
Salesforce Administrator
Sales/Service Cloud Consultant
Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
Knowledge of data migration tools (Data Loader, Data Import Wizard, ETL tools).
Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD, and DevOps (Copado, Gearset, etc.).
