Role Overview We are seeking an accomplished Director of Food and Beverage to spearhead operations across our Banquet, F&B Outlets, and Stewarding departments. This pivotal role requires a seasoned hospitality professional committed to crafting authentic, high-end experiences that define the pinnacle of luxury service.
In this executive capacity, you will assume total oversight of our comprehensive Food & Beverage division. Your remit includes managing all on-property restaurants, bars, lounges, banquet operations, in-room dining, private bars, and stewarding teams. The primary objective is to drive operational excellence, ensuring that every touchpoint and guest interaction adheres to rigorous superior service standards.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Operational Oversight : Division Management: Take full accountability for both day-to-day logistics and the long-term strategic direction of the entire Food & Beverage Division.
Talent Development : Orchestrate the recruitment, training, and performance management lifecycles for all F&B staff. Implement consistent coaching, mentorship programs, and feedback loops to build a high-performance culture focused on retention and growth.
Strategic Integration : actively contribute to the hotel's broader strategic marketing plans. Empower department heads with the resources and autonomy required to execute their specific mandates effectively.
Guest Experience & Service Standards
Service Excellence : Strictly uphold Forbes Five-Star service standards by fostering a proactive service culture that anticipates guest needs and resolves issues swiftly.
Guest Engagement : Maintain a visible presence on the floor to cultivate lasting relationships with regular patrons and forge connections with new guests through personalized service interactions.
Financial Management
Revenue Optimization : Manage the division's P&L and financial health. Deploy creative revenue-generating initiatives while maintaining strict control over labor costs and operating expenses through smart purchasing and inventory management.
Budgeting & Costing : Develop and oversee the Food and Beverage Department budget. This includes precise menu engineering, costing analysis, and dynamic pricing strategies across all outlets.
Compliance & Safety
Regulatory Adherence : Guarantee full compliance with all local health codes, safety protocols, sanitation standards, and liquor laws, in addition to internal corporate governance policies.
Qualifications
Proven Experience : A minimum of five (5) years of management experience within banquets and food and beverage outlets in the luxury hotel sector is required. Alternatively, candidates may present three (3) years of specific tenure as a Director of Food & Beverage in luxury hotels, with a strong preference for backgrounds in Forbes Five-Star rated properties.
Education : Bachelor’s Degree is preferred. Equivalent relevant work experience and demonstrated skill sets comparable to a degree will be considered.
