Job Overview As a Field Merchandiser, you will work independently to showcase your organization and time management skills, establish retailer relationships, and serve as the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support seasonal resets and installations when needed.
SALARY AND SCHEDULE DETAILS
Hourly pay ranging from $13.25 to $14.00, based on skills and experience.
Eligible employees receive annual pay increases.
Part‑time position with a variable schedule during the work week.
Average weekly hours are between 8 and 12.
Availability around major holidays, including weekends, is required.
Your Role and Responsibilities The role involves three major components:
Day‑to‑day engagement : Use a mobile device to restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark products across various retail stores. Communicate with supervisors, report time, provide feedback, and complete required surveys.
Holiday support : Provide additional coverage around holidays such as Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, including weekend work on some holidays.
Department resets : Assist with installation, relocation of card departments, and building Hallmark fixtures, typically with two weeks’ notice and sometimes on evenings or weekends.
Team collaboration : Support other merchandisers as needed within the Hallmark field organization.
Physical Requirements This is a physically demanding job that requires the ability to push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally. Tasks include kneeling, squatting, walking, standing, and climbing stairs or ladders.
Basic Qualifications
At least 18 years old.
Proficient in reading, writing, and understanding English.
Capacity to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
Operates a digital hand‑held device for documents and information.
Has Wi‑Fi and internet access.
Has reliable transportation to travel between assigned stores.
