Executive Director, Finance & FP&A - Global Leasing
Location:
Chicago, IL (3 days on-site) JLL is seeking an Executive Director of Financial Planning & Analysis to lead the FP&A function for Global Leasing. This executive role will drive enterprise-wide financial performance management, advanced analytics, and strategic decision support while overseeing multiple regional FP&A teams. The position includes overseeing and providing strategic support for EMEA and APAC leadership teams. The role requires exceptional leadership to influence C-suite decisions and manage major transformation initiatives.
What your day-to-day will look like:
Develop and execute comprehensive global financial strategies aligned with enterprise objectives and partner with C-suite on major decisions and market expansions.
Oversee multi-regional FP&A teams to establish performance management frameworks with quarterly, annual and strategic financial commitments across geographic markets.
Lead implementation of advanced predictive analytics and next-generation financial systems leveraging automation and AI to drive decision-making and efficiency.
Mentor finance leaders across time zones; establish centers of excellence to share best practices.
Champion transformation projects and serve as primary financial advisor to regional leaders and cross-functional forums.
Support for EMEA and APAC leadership teams.
Strengthen financial reporting capabilities and governance frameworks to ensure data integrity and rapid decision-making.
Represent Global Leasing finance in strategic enterprise initiatives and manage stakeholder relationships, translating insights into actionable strategies.
Required Qualifications:
15+ years of progressive finance leadership with multi-regional scope and enterprise-level impact.
Executive-level experience in public companies with P&L accountability and high-growth environments.
Proven leadership through significant organizational change, including M&A, digital transformation, and scaling initiatives.
Advanced degree (MBA, CPA, or equivalent) with commitment to continuous learning.
Ability to influence and partner with C-suite executives; strong executive presence and communication in matrix organizations.
Expertise in advanced financial modeling, predictive analytics, and enterprise-level system implementations with measurable impact.
Experience with capital allocation decisions and leveraging financial technologies, data analytics, and automation.
Preferred Qualifications:
Real estate markets understanding and global commercial operations expertise.
Track record implementing transformational FP&A capabilities.
Strong business partnership skills translating financial concepts to actionable strategies.
Experience establishing governance frameworks balancing data integrity with agility.
Talent development and finance leadership development program creation.
Knowledge of emerging financial technologies and performance management practices.
International experience with multi-currency operations and cross-cultural management.

Estimated compensation for this position:
210,000 - 270,000 USD per year
