Asset Management Analyst
to join a premier vertically integrated real estate investment, development, and management company. The Asset Management Analyst provides analytical, reporting, and strategic support to the Asset Management team to maximize asset performance and execute approved business plans. This role is responsible for financial modeling, asset-level analysis, budgeting and forecasting, valuation support, and investor reporting across a diversified real estate portfolio. Key Responsibilities
Provide support to the Asset Management team through financial modeling, analysis, and participation in annual business plan development, budget preparation, and approval processes. Build and maintain detailed financial models in Excel and ARGUS, including cash flow projections, lease analysis, sensitivity analysis, and hold/sell scenario evaluations across multiple property types. Monitor asset performance relative to the approved business plan, identifying risks, opportunities, and corrective action items. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual asset and portfolio-level investment reports for internal management, investors, and lenders. Prepare quarterly asset valuations and financial projections, including updates to assumptions related to leasing, capital expenditures, financing, and market conditions. Review underwriting materials, rent rolls, operating statements, leases, loan documents, construction contracts, and insurance policies to support ongoing asset oversight and compliance. Monitor construction and capital improvement projects, including tracking budgets and schedules, and assisting with construction draw requests. Perform market and submarket research, including rent and sales comparable analysis, supply and demand trends, and development pipeline analysis. Assist senior team members with ad hoc analyses, refinancing and disposition efforts, valuation exercises, and special projects as needed. Qualifications
Must have a bachelor’s degree in real estate, finance, economics or related field Must have a minimum of 2-5 years of experience in the real estate industry, with a preference for multifamily Requires financial modeling expertise and understanding of real estate investment principles
