5 - 8 years of experience in PR & Communications, with in-house experience at a high-velocity startup companies Demonstrated success landing Tier 1 and Tier 2 media coverage (e.g., WSJ, Forbes) Experience with data storytelling and narrative building Experience building PR from scratch at high-growth startups Track record with AI narrative positioning and SMB storytelling Experience in consumer tech or B2B tech for small businesses. High-velocity, team-of-one or small-team experience Located in San Francisco and able to work hybrid (2 days/week in office) Responsibilities
Develop and execute a proactive PR strategy and roadmap, moving away from the current reactive agency model. Lead data storytelling initiatives, using proprietary data to shape compelling narratives about Main Street America and small businesses. Secure consistent Tier 1 and Tier 2 media coverage to elevate company\'s profile and build credibility. Drive the communications strategy around key company initiatives, including AI innovation and product launches. Act as a strategic, cross-functional partner, particularly with the data analytics team, to surface insights and build narratives
