Private Equity Associate

Selby Jennings is partnering with an investment firm managing over $8 billion in capital. This firm is a generalist private equity and credit investor focused on underserved lower middle market companies with $10M-$150M in revenue across a wide range of industries.

Base pay range $100,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr

Key Responsibilities

Work on live deals from origination through execution and portfolio management

Partner closely with VPs on underwriting, diligence, and structuring

Gain exposure to both equity and credit investments

Contribute to investment memos, modeling, and deal negotiations

Help manage and monitor portfolio companies post-close

Qualifications

1.5-3 years of experience in investment banking or private equity

Strong financial modeling, writing, and communication skills

Ties to Texas

Experience across multiple sectors

Open to PE-to-PE laterals and IB-to-PE transitions
