
Golf Sponsorship Sales Director

Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute customized sponsorship strategies and packages to hit revenue.
Identify, prospect, and secure new corporate sponsors.
Manage the sales cycle including lead generation, proposal development, negotiation, and closing.
Maintain and grow relationships with existing sponsors to drive renewals and upsells.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful sponsor delivery.
Prepare presentations, pitch decks, and sponsorship proposals for senior-level decision makers.
Track pipeline activity and forecast revenue accurately.
Stay current on golf industry trends, sponsorship valuation, and competitive offerings.
Represent the organization at tournaments, industry events, and client meetings.
Qualifications & Experience
7–10 years of experience in sports sponsorship sales with a deep understanding of the PGA Tour.
Demonstrated ability to close six- and seven-figure sponsorship deals.
Strong existing network within golf, sports, media, or corporate marketing.
Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Experience working with brands, agencies, and C-suite stakeholders.
Comfortable with travel and event-based work schedules.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Management, or related field preferred.

Compensation
Competitive base salary plus commission/bonus structure.
