Responsibilities

Demonstrate leadership by scheduling all positions for each broadcast (Board Ops, Color, Play‑by‑Play, Social Media) and ensuring accurate team assignments for upcoming broadcasts.

Collaborate with the Public Relations Director and Content Marketing Director so social media and web content reach the target demographic.

Work with the Sports Production Director to ensure on‑air content is sports related and fits the demographic.

Apply professional ethical principles to prepare all broadcast content for board‑ops, co‑hosts, and hosts for the next broadcast game.

Ensure all sports broadcast equipment is accounted for and operational before and after broadcasts.

Attend staff leadership and job‑skill enhancement training.

Participate in staff meetings and perform functions as directed by Operations Manager or Program Director.

Train and mentor staff and volunteers.

Utilize current tools and technologies to assist with station remotes and events.

Adhere to all policy and procedures.

Report any violations to GM and OM.

Required Qualifications

Must be a University of West Georgia student enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours.

Must maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA.

Must have a valid Driver’s License.

Physical Requirements / Working Conditions

Frequently moves audio/visual equipment weighing up to 50 pounds across campus for various classrooms and event needs.

Preferred Qualifications

Skilled with Adobe Audition.
