Key Responsibilities
Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
Plan repair work, prepare cost estimates, and use tools such as cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers, and pliers.
Repair dents, apply filler resins, realign chassis, and replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts.
Repair glass, windshields, interior parts, and weld parts as needed.
Prep and repaint vehicles with factory-specified paint or an agreed‑upon equivalent.
Attempt to complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect vehicles after repair.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent.
Successful completion of a technical school program or a 3‑year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer.
Required Skills & Abilities
Read job orders and work with very little supervision.
Work with other repairers in an auto body shop.
Understand methods and procedures to repair vehicle bodies.
Use trade tools effectively.
Other Requirements
Work safely in a noisy area with many odors.
Lift up to 30 pounds at times.
Visually inspect vehicle damage in a variety of weather conditions.
Bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to perform repairs and inspections.
