is hiring a Service Writer. The Service Writer ensures efficient vehicle maintenance scheduling and manages orders. We are looking for customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety.

minimum $23.00 – Maximum $26.00
Benefits include:
Vacation: minimum of two (2) weeks
Sick days: 5 days
Holidays: 12 days; 8 standard and 4 floating

Responsibilities:
Open work request immediately upon receipt.
Close work request immediately upon completion of quality inspection.
Run and review reports as needed.
Answer shop telephones and schedule repair appointments.
Maintain vehicle information files.
Take road call information and dispatch mechanics or outside service.
Arrange pick-up of outside repairs.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous vehicle maintenance administrative experience preferred.
Strong data entry skills.
Computer literate with an advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.
Physical Requirements:
The essential functions of this position require the ability to:
Push and pull objects, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level
Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job; tolerate exposure to considerable amounts of dust, vehicle fumes and noise.
